Analyse the first 30 seconds of a performance, narrative and concept music video:
Performance:
This is a performance becasue it contains the majority of sohts of the artist performing the song. This is quite a clear performance video becasue the artist is on a stange with a microphone and has an audience watching him. There are also close ups of the artist
Narrative:
This is a narrative video because it shows a story which has a beginning, middle and end. However it is also performance based because it shows the artist singing and dancing to her song. In this case the artist is the main part of the story but narrative videos can also involve characters who are separate to the actual artist/s.
If it was purely a narrative video there wouldn't be any performance but this isn't very common.
Concept:
Concept music videos are often quite unusual/abstract and can sometimes confuse the viewer but also keeps them interested. This video is in the form of an animated video game. This intrigues the specific target audience and also emphasises the technological advancements and practices that modern music videos are now accustomed to.
